Young Adult Service Projects

In 2002 at the 13 th All-American Council, the Department of Youth, Young Adult and Campus Ministry set the goal, as one of its priorities, to provide opportunities on a Church-wide level for young adults (18-27) to gather in service to the Church and those in need.

Since that time the Department has initiated a regular schedule of service projects each year including:

• a summer trip to provide hands-on assistance in the Diocese of Alaska
• a fall service project trip to Sts Cosmas and Damians Orthodox Adult Home, Staten Island, NY
• a spring drive to collect money and supplies for orphanages and other humanitarian agencies connected to our sister Orthodox Churches throughout the world
